This grant funded a presentation to high school upper classmen by speaker Chris Herren a former athlete, recovered drug addict and published author of his memoir "Basketball Junkie".
- The Wagner Percussion Workshop (Blake Middle School)
Cynthia Dalpe and Heather Gonzalez - Gr 8 Foreign Language Dept
The grant funded the "Wagner Percussion Workshop" performance in March 2012 at the Middle School to celebrate Foreign Language Week. The grant supported interpretive communication and understanding of other cultures within the state curriculum frameworks for music.
- The Revels: An American Journey (Dale St. School)
Heidi Crable and Dale Street CSA
This grant funded the Performing Arts Series "An American Journey" that recreates a voyage where immigrants share their stories, songs and dances. The performance complemented the new Standards-Based Social Studies Curriculum at the Dale Street School.
- SEPAC Community Enrichment Initiative (System Wide)

This grant funded speaker Jon Mattleman a Needham based psychologist who presented information to parents about teen substance abuse in conjunction with the findings in Medfield of the Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey.
