Researching and Writing

All staff, teachers, administrators, and counselors are eligible to apply for a grant, as long as a direct impact upon students can be demonstrated.

To apply for a grant, please click the link below to access and download the grant application. It may be completed electronically as a fillable PDF with electronic signatures, or printed and completed by hand. Please submit the completed grant application, including all required signatures, to the MCPE Grant Team at grants.mcpe@gmail.com. The MCPE Grant Team is available to answer any questions or provide clarification about the grant process.

MCPE seeks to support grants that meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Demonstrate the ability to enrich students’ learning experiences by improving, enhancing, or expanding curriculum; increasing motivation to learn; stimulating creativity and engagement; and meeting student and staff needs that are outside the parameters of the school budget

  • Address top priorities of the school district and individual schools

  • Aim to have an impact on as many students wherever possible

  • Entail new and innovative approaches

  • Likely to be sustainable in future years

  • Achieve some balance in grants across schools, subject areas, and project types
