ANNIVERSARY APPEAL

Celebrating 35 years of innovative programs, curriculum, and enrichment for Medfield Public Schools.

Paint the Town Blue is now closed.

WE ARE PAINTING THE TOWN BLUE!
MCPE is celebrating its 35th Anniversary! During this anniversary year, we are asking every household in Medfield to consider making a donation to MCPE. Each residence that makes a charitable contribution of any amount, will receive a blue bow placed on their mailbox. You can showcase your support for Medfield Public Schools by donating to MCPE's 35th Anniversary Appeal and proudly displaying a blue ribbon, helping us paint the town blue!

SETTING THE "STAGE" AT WHEELOCK

Setting the “stage” at Wheelock is a project to revitalize the
Wheelock School Stage. Currently, the stage is being used as a storage space. There are no stage curtains, proper lighting, or an updated sound system. We are looking to put in new stage curtains, upgrade all lighting to LED, and update the sound system technology that can be used with ease on an iPhone or iPad.

A MOVABLE SOUNDPROOF PARTITION

A movable soundproof partition in the Dale Street School library and maker space that will allow for more flexible use of very limited space. This wall will allow the excitement, collaboration, and student growth to continue in our Makespace while providing a more quiet academic setting in our Library.

UPGRADING AUDITORIUM  SEATING

New auditorium seating for the Blake Middle School to replace the original, now outdated and damaged seats. Unfortunately, the seats cannot be replaced individually because they are too old; the whole seating section needs to be revamped. This project will enhance the collaborative learning and experiences that take place in the auditorium.

AUDITORIUM SOUND UPGRADE

New speaker system for the Medfield High School auditorium that will complete the upgrade of the stage and sound system that has been purchased over time. This upgraded sound system in the auditorium will support our music and theater programs and allow greater flexibility and creativity in how these productions are developed by students.  Students will be able to produce a sound that is richer and better suited for the size of the auditorium space.

Why should you support the Anniversary Appeal?

Without MCPE, many of the educational enrichment tools and professional development opportunities that differentiate Medfield Public Schools and make our students' academic experiences truly unique would simply not be possible, as they are outside the school budget. Over many years, MCPE has brought innovative and rewarding initiatives to students in all five public schools. From Numicon kits and Passport Club in our elementary schools to a disc golf course and pickleball at the middle and high schools, every single child that comes through the Medfield public school system benefits from grants funded by MCPE.
