For the many ways learning will happen this year…

In the classroom, Over zoom, In pajamas, In masks , Using new tools, Reading books

...we—teachers, staff, students, families, administrators—are united in our shared commitment to making this year productive, rewarding, and enriching.

We are One Medfield!

We’ve always known that our kids learn no matter where they are, but that idea has never been more true than this year. Whether they are learning in the classroom or virtually, we can say with certainty that school is everywhere this year. And we’re all in this together—as One Medfield! Even in these challenging times, MCPE will continue to provide support to our K-12 public schools to make the year the best it can be. Over the year, we’ll continue to share the innovative grants awarded to our K-12 teachers and administrators and highlight how as a community we’re working together.

What about the Fall Ball?

As MCPE, we are working really hard to reimagine our district fundraising events in a fun and safe manner. We are certainly disappointed that crowd favorites such as the “Treasured Experiences” auction, the Spelling Bee, Trivia Night, and, yes, even the highly-anticipated Fall Ball, will not be able to happen in person this year due to the pandemic. We are striving to replace our traditional events with innovative virtual options and (hopefully) some new favorites too! While the school year is looking different, we are still supporting our children, we are still learning, and even though we are physically apart our community is always connected because we are One Medfield.

Night In

Join us for a series of smaller, community-based FunRaising events. We are planning events targeted at kids and adults alike, and they don’t have to happen at night. Save Thursday, 11/19 at 8pm for a virtual flower arranging class and details for future events will be coming soon!

Movement Challenge

This school year will be unique, but we still share the same goal of enriching our children’s education as well as their overall physical and mental well-being. Let’s set out together on a mission to keep exercising, and to feel connected to our community. Walk, run, bike, rollerblade, swim or skip your way to the finish and earn a special One Medfield tee shirt!
